Are people making long distance calls on your phone and not paying for them? Now you can have a phone that restricts all long distance calls for everyone but you.
How to use Toll Restriction Plus
- To activate Toll Restriction Plus, call the Canby Telcom Customer Care Center at 503-266-8111 and a Customer Care Specialist will help you complete the necessary steps, including selecting your special PIN that lets only you make long distance calls.
- Once Toll Restriction Plus is activated, long distance calls can be made by pressing *13 (Rotary phones 1113).
- When you hear the second dial tone, enter your special PIN.
- You will then hear the final dial tone that lets you complete your long distance call.
How to temporarily change your PIN
- This allows someone else to temporarily place long distance calls with your original PIN, then you can select a new PIN once they're done.
- Press *12 and enter your new PIN. The system will now respond only to the new PIN.
